CII-Shiksha has a strong belief that "Together Everybody Achieves More" and has built partnerships with many like minded organisations, institutions, individuals, etc. to create synergy. This has resulted in bringing together the expertise and experience of all on a common plateau and enable generate a platform for sharing and collaboration.

Dayanand Anglo Vedic (DAV)

CII-Shiksha has joined hands with DAV to introduce technology enabled education in DAV schools. The Shiksha programme would be launched in all the DAV schools across the country in a phased manner. So far, the schools belonging to Delhi/ NCR and U.P. region have been covered. CII-Shiksha would introduce a range of technology tools in DAV schools and help the schools integrate technology in various academic and non-academic processes in schools. The teachers are being empowered with a host of tools to give them better control over content creation and delivery.

Reallylinux

Really Linux is an international site for Linux Beginners and presents an easy approach to migrate to Linux platform. The articles range from the most basic for a beginner to more specific for advanced users.

Really Linux has extended help to CII-Shiksha by donating Thin Client Server for NGO and also by sponsoring awards for CII-Shiksha.

Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF)

A non-profit organization established by leading academicians, scientists and media personalities with the aim of popularising science and computer education, the Science Olympiad Foundation has been striving for over a decade to promote scientific attitude through innovation activities and use of IT in Learning process that involves school students across the country. 

CII-Shiksha and SOF have joined hands to reach out to more schools across the country and help them acrrue benefit from the vast pool of resources on offer for them. SOF would launch the CII-Shiksha programme in more regions and help promote the cause f technology enabled teaching-learning in schools.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS)

In a significant step towards empowering teachers with variety of e-technologies, Shiksha India and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) on 4th July 2007 at NVS Headquarters in New Delhi. The association would see promoting e-teaching as a preferred methodology for teaching-learning. The focus would be on empowering teachers with various productivity, pedagogy-based and web-based tools and enable them to get started with e-teaching. CII-Shiksha would promote the use of open source tools and would conduct various workshops on 'e-teaching/learning through open source'.

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Chandigarh UT (SSA)

SHIKSHA Signs MOU with SARVA SHIKSHA ABHIYAN, CHANDIGARH UT (SSA)On 3rd September 2007, CII-Shiksha entered into an association with Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Chandigarh, UT to implement the programme in government schools. A MOU to the effect was signed by Ms. Sharmila Dalmia, Founder Executive Trustee, Shiksha India and Mr. S.K. Setia, DPI cume SPD, Chandigarh UT at Chandigarh. The association would see introduction and promotion of e-teaching methodology in schools. The teachers from the various government schools would be trained (in a phased manner) on various aspects of e-learning and e-teaching. The teachers would be empowered with various pedagogy-based (using Open Source) and web-based tools. A separate "Best e-teacher" award was also announced for the government school teachers under the Shiksha programme. Shiksha intervention would be in terms of providing Shiksha content and teachers' training.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS)

SHIKSHA Signs MOU with KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA SANGATHAN (KVS)In a significant step towards empowering teachers with variety of e-technologies, Shiksha India and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) on 3rd July 2007 at New Delhi. The association would promote use of open source and web-based tools by KVS teachers for their teaching-learning. The Kendriya Vidyalaya school teachers would be trained on the use of various pedagogy based open source tools and on various web-based strategiesVarious hands-on workshops would be conducted for teachers from different KV schools in a phased manner. The first workshop with 20 Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools from Delhi/ NCR was conducted from 11th-13th September 2007.

Open Source Software Resource Centre (OSSRC), Mumbai

CII-Shiksha and OSSRC (Open Source Software Resource Centre), Mumbai have joined hands to introduce Open source philosophy in schools and to empower the schools with open source tools to cater to various academic and non-academic requirements. OSSRC has rich expertise in training and research on Open source and with CII-Shiksha providing a rich base of schools, the partnership would reach out to more and more schools across the country and help them utilise the rich source of tools and resource available under Open Source.

E-Learning for Kids (EFK)

EFK (E-Learning for Kids) is a global non-profit foundation that provides free online learning for children in 5-12 age group. The courses are available in Math, Science, Reading, Health and Computers. CII-Shiksha and EFK have joined hands to make available good quality multimedia content developed by EFK to various schools and children in India. CII-Shiksha would make available the content in offline media to various Shiksha schools across the country under the programme.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Chennai

CII-Shiksha and TeNet Group, IIT Chennai have entered into a MoU for translation of Shiksha's academic content to Tamil. CII-Shiksha has shared the entire source code for its academic content and made it available to IIT Chennai for translation in Tamil and to be used as a part of their village based initiative. The TeNet group has arranged the resources for the process. The translated contents has been made available to CII - Shiksha for use in its partner schools.

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC), Noida

SHIKSHA Signs MOU with CENTRE FOR DEVELOPMENT OF ADVANCED COMPUTING (CDAC), NOIDACII-Shiksha and CDAC, Noida signed an MOU on 5th October 2007 at CDAC Noida. As per the agreement, CII-Shiksha would help various open source products created by CDAC to reach schools under Shiksha project. CII-Shiksha would help generate feedback on these products, both in terms of its usage and functionalities/capabilities. The scope of the agreement also includes working together on creating translations of Shiksha content in various Indian languages.

Mingoville, Denmark

In a major development, CII-Shiksha India and Mingoville signed an agreement on 22nd October 2007 to offer English language resources, free of cost, to schools under Shiksha network. As a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) move Mingoville, Denmark will provide free unlimited licenses for children studying in various Shiksha connected schools. The resources provided online by Mingoville is to make English 'fun and enjoyable'.

Responsenet

ResponsenetIn a major development, CII-Shiksha and Responsenet signed an MoU on 22nd November 2007 to launch and implement the Shiksha Programme in North-East. Responsenet would be the Implementation Partner for CII-Shiksha Programme in North-East. The good volunteer base that responsenet has would help Shiksha reach out to schools in North-East. In the first phase, the Programme would be launched in Imphal, Manipur with a select group of schools.
